Service Description

Sundays 2pm, 45mins X 6 weeks, max 4 dogs aged 6 months and over. Hoopers is a low impact agility dog sport with no high-power jumping, no jarring sharp turns, and no large pieces of equipment to navigate. Hoopers is focused on the ability of the dog and their owner to work together as a smooth-flowing team, so it's a great bonding activity too. Think about the fun and excitement of agility but with a gentler ground based course that doesn't have any jumps and that's Hoopers. The courses are flowing and consist of a series of hoops, barrels, and short tunnels. There aren't the tight turns and high-impact activities that you might see on an agility course, massively reducing the impact and likelihood of injury for your dog. Hoopers puts less strain on their joints and doesn’t rely on speed but rather teamwork, making it appropriate for teenage dogs, retired agility dogs, large or senior dogs. If you or your dog find that high impact speed activities are not for you then try Hoopers. Learn new dog handling skills in a fun, no pressure environment and watch your dog grow in confidence. Your dog needs to have basic training and be able to work off lead and not be reactive to other dogs to participate.
